Error Messages


What does the license expired message mean?

If you have not run an index update in the last 6 months or the updates have been run incorrectly then you will encounter this message (see the How do I Update my Data? FAQ above to see how to correctly update your data). Our license files are updated every time the user runs an index update. As long as you continue to get passwords from us your license should never expire.

Once you have encountered this error there is a simple two step process to fix it. First you need to run an Index Update. Once the Index Update has been run you need to download and run our Unlock file to unlock the StyleADVISOR registry. To get the unlock file click here. Once the file has been downloaded run it and call us at (800)789-5323 for the unlock code. This simple procedure will get your StyleADVISOR running again.


What does the invalid license message mean?

The Invalid License error means that StyleADVISOR cannot find the license file, license.txt. To fix this problem please call us at (800)789-5323 or email Support@styleadvisor.com to request a new one.
