How do I export returns to Excel?

To export monthly or quarterly returns for managers, funds or benchmarks from StyleADVISOR to Excel create a workbook with the desired managers or funds. Click on File/Export/Returns to Clipboard. Now go to Excel and click on Edit/Paste.

Note: The returns exported will only coincide with the dates and managers chosen in the workbook parameters not the parameters chosen for a specific chart.

How do I export charts to PowerPoint or Word?

There are multiple ways to export and link graphs into other programs. To quickly copy and paste a specific graph, make sure that you zoom in so that the graph fills the screen. The export feature exports whatever is displayed on the screen; if you see four graphs on a page all four are exported. Now click File/Export Metafile to Clipboard. You can now paste the graph into other programs. Once the image has been exported it can be resized by dragging the corners of the picture.

For a more advanced and automated way to create Power Point slides, use the new tool called PowerPRESENTER. This allows you to export a multi-page workbook into PowerPoint automatically. To do this, after you have finished setting up your workbook, go up to tools/export to PowerPoint/Export Current Workbook. This will open PowerPoint and then create a slide for each page that you have created in StyleADVISOR (notice: if you don't see this as an option under tools then you need to upgrade from our website to version 6.42 and also e-mail support@styleadvisor.com for a new license file). I want to see the underlying results of the Custom Axis graph, how can I do this?

Select File/Export/Results to Clipboard then paste these in Excel to see all the raw data that was used to create the graphs or tables in StyleADVISOR.
